Ghazipur Lit Fest presented by Bharat Dialogues is glad to welcome Matt Sedillo as our esteemed speaker. Matt Sedillo is the Literary Director of the Mexican Cultural Institute of Los Angeles, National Coordinator for WPM US (World Poetry Movement), and Co-Founder of El Martillo Press. A prominent Chicano political poet, essayist, and activist, he has received accolades such as Dante’s Laurel and the Joe Hill Labor Poetry Award. Sedillo is the author of critically acclaimed poetry collections including Mowing Leaves of Grass and City on the Second Floor. He also serves as the lead host of Radio La Raza on KPFK 90.7, using his voice to champion culture, resistance, and social justice.
