Ghazipur Literature Festival presented by Bharat Dialogues welcomes Mrityunjay Kumar Singh as our esteemed speaker. He is an IPS officer, poet, columnist, lyricist and folk musician who hails from Sonbarsa, Bihar. His works include the poetry collection ‘Kirchen’, a bilingual transcreation of Kalidasa’s Meghdoot, and the novel Ganga Ratān Bidesī, all acclaimed for their lyrical power and cultural depth. He also writes columns and lyrics for cinema and folk albums, bringing together rural sensibilities and contemporary concerns. He has been awarded the President of India’s Medal for Meritorious Service and the Kalakar Award for Best Music in Regional Language.
