Ghazipur Lit Fest presented by Bharat Dialogues is thrilled to welcome Abhay Mishra, as our esteemed speaker. Abhay Mishra is currently associated with the Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts (IGNCA), New Delhi, where he works on the Riverine Culture Project to explore the cultural aspects linked with rivers. A Hindi writer and journalist, he has travelled the stretch from Gomukh to Gangasagar four times, chronicling the pain and forgotten gratitude owed to rivers. His books include Dar Dar Gange (Penguin), Maati Maanush Choon (Vani Prakashan), Chullu Bhar Kahaani (Hind Yugm), and Vihangam (Penguin). With over a hundred published articles on the environment, he has been honoured with the prestigious Anupam Mishra Memorial Medal.
