Padma Shri Dr. Rajeshwar Acharya

Ghazipur Literature Festival presented by Bharat Dialogues welcomes Padma Shri Dr. Rajeshwar Acharya as our esteemed speaker. A distinguished Hindustani classical vocalist of the Gwalior gharana, Dr. Acharya has dedicated his life to the preservation and propagation of Indian classical music. Renowned for his deep understanding of ragas and his powerful yet soulful voice, he has inspired countless students during his tenure at Banaras Hindu University and Deen Dayal Upadhyay Gorakhpur University. His performances and lectures continue to enrich India’s cultural landscape. In recognition of his immense contribution, he was honored with the Padma Shri in 2019.
