Ghazipur Lit Fest presented by Bharat Dialogues is glad to welcome M K Raina as our esteemed speaker. M. K. Raina is an acclaimed Indian theatre actor and director, graduated from the NSD (National School of Drama) in 1970 with the Best Actor award. He has produced over 130 plays in 13 languages and acted in more than a hundred. M. K. Raina received the Sangeet Natak Akademi award in 1995 and the Swarna Padak from the Govt. of Jammu and Kashmir in 1996 for his contribution to Indian Theater. He was also awarded one of India's highest theatre awards, the B. V. Karanth award for lifetime achievement in 2007. An NSD alumnus and recipient of numerous awards, Raina explores human rights, democracy, and militancy in Kashmir through diverse forms like Kashmiri folk theatre, classical Hindustani, and avant-garde cinema.
