He has written 16 books in English and one in Malayalam, mainly focusing on mythological stories. Anand is known for writing the prequel series for the Baahubali movies, called Bahubali: Before the Beginning. He has also written scripts for TV shows like Siya Ke Ram, Mahabali Hanuman, and Chakravarthy Ashoka.
