Chandan Tiwari is a renowned Indian folk singer from Bihar, celebrated for her soulful performances in Bhojpuri, Nagpuri, Awadhi, and Hindi. She has received prestigious awards including the Bismillah Khan Samman from the Sangeet Natak Akademi and the Bihar Kala Samman. Recognized as Bhojpuri Kokila in Kolkata, she also won the Best Traditional Folk Singer Award from News-24 and Radio Dhamal. Featured on the cover of India Today Magazine, Chandan has performed a diverse repertoire including Purabi Sohar, Chhath Songs, Kajri, and Thumri. Her contributions have significantly enriched Indian folk music, earning her the title of Changemaker Icon of Bihar.
