Ghazipur Lit Fest presented by Bharat Dialogues is glad to welcome Rati Saxena as our esteemed speaker. Rati Saxena is a renowned poet, translator, and editor passionate about culture, history, and ancient literature. She is also the founder of Kritya International Poetry Festival. She has a PhD on Atharvaveda and has done extensive work on Vedic studies. She has published six Hindi and four English poetry collections, translated fifteen books from Malayalam, and five international poetry anthologies. Her travelogues, memoirs, and literary critiques showcase her diverse talents. Her book on poetry therapy, A Fist Which Opens, explores healing through verse. Her poetry, translated into multiple languages, has been featured in international festivals and even space missions. Over the years, her remarkable contributions have been recognized with several prestigious honours, including a fellowship by the Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts, the Sahitya Akademi Award for Translation, The Meera Puraskar—Rajasthan Sahitya Akademi’s highest honour, and the Samagra Sahitya Puraskar from the Kerala Sahitya Akademi.
