Pushpesh Pant is a renowned Indian academic, food critic, and historian, best known for his expertise in international relations and Indian culinary traditions. A former professor at Jawaharlal Nehru University, he has authored numerous books on diplomacy and food, including the celebrated India: The Cookbook. With a rich knowledge of culture and history, Pant has played a key role in popularising regional Indian cuisines globally. He has contributed columns to leading publications and appeared on various media platforms. Recipient of the Padma Shri, his work bridges the gap between scholarly insight and public engagement with India’s diverse heritage.
